Plot outline

The comic tells of the adventures of the title character, Lenore, and her variety of friends. The primary focus of the graphic novel is dark humor, with many of the stories having amusing twist endings. Common themes are the reinvention of children's songs, games, and nursery rhymes to something more macabre, and subverting all sorts of pop culture icons and cultural figures in to topics of dark comedy. In one story, for instance, Lenore accidentally kills the Easter Bunny. While Lenore's actions often result in the death or injury to those around her, and in various forms of chaos, she is not a malicious character, and often thinks she is doing good. Lenore is not the sole focus of the comic, with many stories featuring one-time characters (One of these characters, Samurai Sloth, is set to star in his own series). Also featured are humorous, semi autobiographical accounts of events that happened to creator Roman Dirge, titled "Things Involving Me."

Lenore, o la Hermosa Ni�a Muerta, es un personaje de historieta creado por Roman Dirge, convertido en cуmic de culto debido a su rara "ternura".

En el cуmic, Lenore es una ni�a de 10 a�os que, en vida, enfermу gravemente y sus padres, al ver su hermosura, decidieron embalsamarla. Sin embargo, ella sigue viva e incluso es consciente de su calidad de "muerta-viva".

Debido a esto pasa por situaciones escalofriantes, gуticas, raras y, a la vez, divertidas; siendo considerado un cуmic de humor negro, pero infantil, que gana las simpatнas de cualquier neуfito que la ve por vez primera.

Su fama aumentу considerablemente al realizarse una serie de 26 episodios animados que no duran mбs de 5 minutos cada uno (actualmente circulan en internet en formato Macromedia Flash), siendo йstos los reales impulsadores de su difusiуn en el sub-mundo internauta.
